WE’VE MADE IT EASIER TO GET OUR SPECIALTY FINISHES ON A VARIETY OF WOOD SUBSTRATES THAT FIT YOUR UNIQUE DESIGN NEEDS.

Choose Your Oak Base

Then Choose Your Specialty Finish

We offer a variety of specialty oak finishes, from soft pearly white tones to a textural black finish reminiscent of charred shou sugi ban wood. These finishes are available on different oak bases, which may alter the appearance of the finish, and come from different sources. If you are specifically looking for an FSC certified wood, we can offer that, too.

Choose from our Heritage Reclaimed Oak, Recovered Left Coast White Oak or FSC® Certified New Legacy White Oak. Each base wood has a different source story and shows a varying degree of character and color tones.

WANT TO HARNESS THE TRULY RECLAIMED SPIRIT?

Choose our Heritage Oak, which is sourced from barns, out-buildings, warehouses, factories and other sources in the eastern United States. This mix of red and white oak shows a higher grade of character, including nail holes, checks and knots, adding personality and history to any application. It’s FSC® Recycled and contributes to LEED projects as a post-consumer reclaimed material. Darker finishes, including the Espresso and Deep Sumi, look particularly stunning, accentuating the features that give this wood its distinctive charm.

RATHER HAVE A SUSTAINABLY-SOURCED NEW WOOD?

Go for the Legacy White Oak, which is FSC® Certified and is available in Character and Select Grades. This stunning white oak exudes a classic European sophistication, adding elegance to modern interiors. Sourced from the east coast, this sustainably-harvested white oak is a perfect option for LEED and green building projects.

WANT A VERSATILE AND ECONOMICAL WHITE OAK?

Our Recovered Left Coast White Oak is sourced in Western Oregon, along the “Left Coast,” and provides exceptional hardness for flooring applications, as well as for wall and ceiling cladding. It comes available in one Character + Better Grade, which includes Character and Select features mixed together for a lively array of grain and knots. Our Left Coast White Oak provides a unique aesthetic for white oak, showing diverse grain patterns and cooler beach tones ranging from luminous soft wheat to toasted caramel. If you’re looking for a regionally sourced, unique oak along the West Coast, this is a perfect option!
