Left Coast White Oak

Oregon-Sourced Recovered White Oak Cladding & Solid Flooring

Description

This natural beauty from the untamed far west, Anthology Woods Left Coast White Oak is at home in a rustic country and stark modern environment alike. Perhaps the hardest available White Oak for flooring, this variety grows exclusively in a narrow swath of the West - or "left" coast, between the 34th & 49th parallels, and is 25% harder than common White Oak from the eastern United States. Available in one Character & Better Grade, which embraces the natural rugged features of this unique west coast oak.

Evoking a connection to the raw and dramatic slopes of the Cascades, Left Coast White Oak is full of inherent allure. You'll see a variety of grain patterns, knots and checks, and colors ranging from luminous soft wheat and pale caramel, to deep sun-kissed tan, and includes a few accents of rich espresso and near-obsidian mineral streaks.
