Reclaimed Engineered Oak Flooring Brings Warmth to this Playful Office Design

Description

A core part of the Airbnb Environments Team philosophy includes “belonging anywhere,” an idea that permeates the San Francisco headquarters. They value the idea of the sharing economy, which pushes back on the individual ownership and mass production prevalent on our modern culture.

This concept is displayed throughout the three-stored building, designed with a variety of small to large collaboration spaces, cozy nooks and comfortable work spaces. Some of the rooms have reclaimed Heritage Oak engineered wood flooring, which is filled with oxide stains, nail holes and other character from its rich past, bringing warmth to these creative work spaces.
