Legacy White Oak Anchors This Warm Coastal Interior

Description

Perched along the rugged California coast with sweeping ocean views, Best Nest is a thoughtfully crafted beach house designed to feel both refined and deeply inviting. The home blends clean architectural lines with a warm, organic material palette inspired by the surrounding landscape.

EMA led the material selections and key design decisions, designing custom features such as a cantilevered breakfast table, adding moments of craftsmanship and functionality unique to the home.

A defining feature throughout the residence is the use of Anthology Woods’ Legacy White Oak paneling across the ceilings, bringing natural texture, warmth, and continuity to each space. The soft, earthy tones of the wood complement the expansive coastal views while creating a cohesive atmosphere that feels calm, elevated, and welcoming.
